Bhava
Every young Indian has had the same conversation with their mum: nice profile, but did you match kundalis? Bhava does that check first, so everyone you meet has already been scored against your Kundali.
The problem
For millions of young Indians, in India and across the diaspora, Kundali matching is an essential step before a marriage conversation goes further. Yet most matrimony and dating apps leave it until the very end, after weeks of messages and hope, when a low score or a serious dosha can end things abruptly.
Families want to help, but most apps either ignore them or make everyone share one login, which leaves young people uncomfortable and parents guessing. Endless feeds make people browse instead of decide.
The approach
- Move Kundali matching to the beginning: calculate each member's chart at sign-up and score every introduction against it before it is ever shown.
- Replace infinite swiping with a small evening Drop, chosen on compatibility, distance, and recent activity, that ends until the next night.
- Explain the 36 gunas in everyday words instead of hiding them behind a number.
- Give families their own login and role, on the member's terms: they can see and advise, but never message a match or read chats.
What it does
Tonight's Drop
Five hand-picked introductions every evening at 7 pm local time (seven with Bhava Plus). Introductions scoring under 18 of 36 are never shown.
The score, explained
Every match shows its Guna Milan score with short tags like "Bhakoot 7 of 7: families get along". "You two, in depth" explains all eight kootas and highlights any Nadi, Bhakoot, or Manglik dosha.
Parents' view
Family members join with a private code and get a calm, larger-type view of matches, can "Check a rishta" from WhatsApp in seconds, leave private notes, and suggest people from their own circle.
Cosmic ID & full profiles
Your Moon sign, nakshatra, rising sign, Gana, and North Indian Kundali chart within two minutes of signing up, plus complete matrimonial profiles built around how families actually evaluate a match.
Verification & safety
Selfie-pose photo verification checked by a person, screened photos, report and block everywhere, and shared cards that leave out surnames, contact details, and exact birth data.
Chats that keep going
Text, photos, and voice notes, suggested openers, a "Kundali truth or myth" icebreaker, and nudges toward a video call or a meeting on an auspicious date.
